Astrophotography

We've finally been getting some clear nights here in New England and this past Saturday I decided to take advantage of the skies and take some pictures of the stars.  There's a park not too far from where I live that has no lights and open views in most directions.  Unfortunately the humidity was high, causing the lens to fog over, and the moon was more than half full.  I was able to get some decent shots but figured I'd try again another time when the humidty wasn't causing havoc with the lens.

New England foliage

This is my favorite time of the year.  I'm not a huge fan of the summer.  It gets too hot, too muggy, too sticky, etc...  The spring is okay but there's a lot of rain and the days seem more unpredictable.  Winter would be my second favorite season even though it gets quite cold and I live in a snow belt area.  That leaves (no pun intended) fall.  I love the warm days and cool evenings.  It's usually not too hot or too cold.  The best part of the fall season is the New England foliage.
